2 Red Lake Code of Tribal Offenses Section 73 - Gambling Any Indian who operates a place or device where a risk is taken on a chance of winning money or other valuable property, shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment not to exceed thirty days or to a fine not to exceed $60.00 or to both such imprisonment and fie with cost. The Superintendent will issue permits for Bingo games. Penalties imposed to be determined by the nature of the offense. Section 74 - Violation of an Approved Tribal Ordinance Any Indian who violates any approved ordinance by the Tribal Council in which no penalty is prescribed, shall be guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed sixty days or to a fine not to exceed $120.00 or both such imprisonment and fine with cost. Penalty imposed to be determined by the nature of the offense. Section 75 - Control of Female Dogs Any Indian owner of a female dog shall be required to keep it confined during any periods she attracts a group of male dogs. Any member of the Law and Order division who had knowledge of a running female dog shall give immediate notice to the owner when practicable, and if the dog is not promptly caught and confined, it shall be disposed of in a humane manner by any member of the Law and Order Division. Any Indian owner of a dog, or other person responsible for a dog, who violates this Section shall be deemed guilty of an offense, and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or pay a fine of sixty dollars ($60).
