Red Lake Code of Tribal Offenses
the owner or occupant thereof, or who shall willfully and knowingly allow livestock to occupy or graze on cultivated or other lands not his own shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to emceed fifteen days or to a fine not to exceed $30.00 or to such imprisonment and fine with cost.  In addition, the court may award damages to the injured party.  Penalty imposed to be determined by the nature of the offense.

Section 68 - Threat of Violence
     Any Indian who shall assault another Indian or make a threat of violence upon the life of another person or threaten to inflict serious injury upon another person, his family or a member thereof, or upon his house or property, shall be deemed guilty of an offense, and upon conviction thereof shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed ninety days or to a fine not to exceed $180.00 or both such imprisonment and fine with cost.  The court may require the offender to furnish a bond to keep the peace.

Section 69 - Tuberculosis Patients
     Any Indian who shall neglect or refuse to go to the Sanatorium for treatment when found to be afflicted with tuberculosis, or leaves the Sanatorium and returns to the Red Lake Indian Reservation without being discharged by the Superintendent of the Institution shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be committed or returned to the Institution.  The court shall issue a commitment for the patient and deliver it to the proper official to be executed.  Any other Indian who aids, counsels, conceals, or in any way assists a patient to remain on the Reservation while their condition is contagious shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a  period not to exceed sixty days or to a fine not to exceed $120.00 or to both such imprisonment and fine with cost.  Penalty imposed to be determined by the nature of the offense.
