Red Lake Code of Tribal Offenses
Section 47 - Maintaining a Public Nuisance
     Any Indian who shall act in such a manner or permit his property to fall into such condition as to inure or endanger the safety, health, comfort or property of his neighbors, shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed thirty days or to a fine not to exceed $60.00 or to both such imprisonment and fine with cost, and may be required to remove such nuisance when so ordered by the court.

Section 48 - Fraud
     Any Indian who shall by willful misrepresentation or deceit, or by false interpreting, or by the use of false weights or measure, obtain any money or other property, shall be deemed guilty of fraud and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed six months or to a fine not to exceed $360.00 or both such imprisonment and fine with cost.  Penalty imposed to be determined by the nature of the offense.

Section 49 - Fire Fighters
     Any male Indian who is physically fit between the ages of 18 and 55, without a good and sufficient reason refuses to fight forest fires on the Red Lake Indian Reservation for the established fire fighting wages, when requested to do so by the Superintendent, Indian Police, or Forest Officers, shall be deemed to be guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed ten days or to a fine not to exceed $20.00 or to both such imprisonment with fine and cost.

Section 50 - Operating a Public Dance Hall
     Any Indian or group of Indians who operate or maintain a public dance hall or place where the public is permitted to attend on the Red Lake Indian Reservation, without first having obtained a permit or license
