Section 32 - Mufflers Any Indian who shall operate a motor vehicle without a muffler in good working order, to prevent excessive or unusual notice shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed five days or to a fine not to exceed $10.00 or to both such imprisonment with fine and cost. Penalty imposed to be determined by the nature of the offense. Section 33 - Minor Operating a Motor Vehicle Any Indian who is under the age of 15 years or any Indian parent or guardian who permits a child under this age to drive a motor vehicle on the public highway of the Red Lake Indian Reservation, shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed thirty days or to a fine not to exceed $60.00 or to both such imprisonment and fine with cost. Penalty imposed to be determined by the nature of the offense. Section 34 - Passing School Buses Any Indian who operates a vehicle on the Red Lake Indian Reservation, who fails to stop when school children are being loaded into or are being discharged from a school bus, shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall bes sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed thirty days or to a fine not to exceed $60.00 or to both such imprisonment and fine with cost. Penalty imposed to be determined by the nature of the offense. |
